1. We confirm the symptom

Your technician calls before departure to get the make, model, symptom, and any flashing fault code, plus where the RV is parked.

2. On-site testing

We verify the start circuit and battery, fuel delivery, ignition or injection, engine speed, sensors and wiring, and measure the generator's electrical output under load.

3. Findings and repair

You get a plain-English explanation of what failed and what it takes to fix it. Field-serviceable repairs are completed in the visit when parts and access allow; anything needing ordered parts is scheduled for a return trip.

Do you repair RV generators at my location?

Yes. We are a mobile RV service company. We diagnose and repair the generator where your RV is parked — your driveway, a storage lot, or a campsite — whenever the job can reasonably be completed in the field. Some repairs, such as major engine internal work or a full generator replacement, may need additional parts, lead time, or a shop environment.

What does a mobile RV generator service call cost?

The Mobile Generator Service Call is a $475 minimum. It includes dispatch to your RV within our 50-mile Tampa service area and up to the first hour of on-site diagnostic/repair labor. A 3.5% card convenience fee applies. Additional labor, parts, or repairs are quoted separately before any additional work is performed.

Is mobile repair cheaper than a dealership?

Repair costs may be comparable depending on the issue and the parts required. What mobile service reliably saves you is the towing, the drop-off, and the wait — dealership appointments can sometimes involve days or weeks of waiting.

Do you service Cummins Onan generators?

We focus on the most common Cummins Onan gasoline RV generators: the 4000, 5500, and 7000 families. We are an independent mobile service company and not an authorized Cummins dealer. Service availability can depend on the generator model, installation, parts availability, and condition.

My generator is flashing a code. Can you tell me the problem over the phone?

A fault code is a helpful starting point and we are happy to talk it through, but the code narrows the area of the fault rather than naming the failed part. Proper diagnosis usually requires on-site testing.

Do you offer annual generator maintenance?

Yes. Service is model-specific: the Onan 4000 receives engine oil and one spark plug and has no oil filter; the Onan 5500 and 7000 receive engine oil, an oil filter, and two spark plugs. Applicable air and fuel filters, a load check, and a full operational inspection are included.
